I've watched a fair few Millwall matches this season for my sins (I must have been really bad in a previous life...).
He looks a creative player who likes to drop deep to pick up the ball and make key passes so my question is - can he not be adapted further into a playmaking #10 type player for Ireland if he continues to progress his career? We have more options at #9 and either side of that. Just throwing it out there.

I get the impression he has had to come deep to try to get into the game more which is why he has been doing the more creative stuff. Or maybe that's what they're telling him to do there.
To be honest I don't want Parrott dropping back as a more creative type player, I want him up front scoring goals as he is probably our best hope of developing a prolific striker from the current crop of young players coming through. When Robbie Keane came through first he often played more as a hole player - probably the best thing that happened from an Irish point of view was that he became an out and out centre forward for club and country.

Pretty bad game against a terrible team today. Millwall doesn't seem to be working out for him. Hope he can prove himself somewhere eventually.

"Eventually"? He is an eighteen year old who has played a handful of games on his first loan, he has hardly been around the block and back yet

Eventually yes, as he's been crap for Millwall.

If you say so. Not scoring in a team that creates hardly any chances is not necessarily the same as "crap" though, although bandwagon fans often see it that way of course.

Only watched the first half but he was quite good , anything decent Millwall were doing he was involved in and had a couple of attempts at goal. He wont be burning anyone with his pace though that's for sure

I watched half of it too, didn't look good to me. Green tinted glasses here all the time, the Millwall fans, known for their cultured knowledge of football don't seem to rate him

I watched the first half also and he played in some good buildup play but he's rarely found as the last man in a move.
Had two shots, both wide. Lovely pass in the play for the first goal and a few other v nice touches. Am not worried at the lack of goals - he's getting great work-experience at a tough level and will stand to him. McNamara at right-wing-back had a very good 1st half.

This is my favourite one (YBIG has edited out the actual word) A certain **** on here will no doubt say Parrott was our best player. Is Parrott actually going back to Tottenham? Seems odd to me that Millwall would have him in the starting line up if he's not going to be there in a few days.
I'd like him to see out his loan move to be honest, he may not get a lot of goals there but he'll learn a lot of the ugly stuff which is still good experience

Millwall losing 1-0 to Bournemouth going into the half-time break. I assume Parrott will get another 10 or 15 minutes before getting substituted, assuming he isn't taken off at half-time.

According to Millwall fans he doesn't work hard at all and has been useless tonight.
Hopefully the club just isn't the right fit, and the experience does him some good.

Watched him a few times, I have to say i agree.seems to have a bad attitude on the pitch, either that or his confidence is rock bottom. Hopefully he get a goal soon and he might push on.
