Why do you say that? Please elaborate. He scored twice last month in the first month of the season. What is your basis for saying he probably won't score until March again, particularly when he must have done something to contribute to this own goal if MK Dons chalked it up as his goal, for what that's worth: https://twitter.com/MKDonsFC/status/1439253418686701569?s=20

Ahh he's saying it tongue in cheek! I watched it he played very well today will be disappointed not to score as he had some looks at goal but important thing is he's playing well in a team that suits him regular gametime. He linked up play beautifully up top on his own. Development is important Parrott is 19 he's not going to save us in the coming months keep expectations low.

5 goal contributions (if it's not his goal then it's his assist) technically in 8 games now. My own thinking was if he could get 15-20 goal contributions that would be a fine return for him. He's well on track for that now fitness aside.

Even if it is a penalty, isn't it still September?

In the posters defence that comment was very much tongue in cheek!

3 goals and 2 assists in 8 for him and that's not including the OG last week which I thought was slightly harsh not to give to him and he won the penalty today too if that's correct? He's now a key man in a team flying high and likely to challenge strongly for promotion in League 1 this season.

At 19 that's decent progress and I just hope he stays fit now and continues to develop away in peace. He won't be our saviour for Ireland anytime soon but that's okay he's a kid.

Great to see Troy doing so well now he is playing under a manager that believes in him and will give him first team action. The mk dons fans are raving about as well which is a good sign. He's well on track to make double figures this season and this should provide a good spring board for next year when he can challenge for the Spurs first team.

I still maintain he is going to get 20+ goals for Ireland. Lad has such a bright future ahead for us.

great link. Always good to see what the fans think of a player like Troy who has gone on loan to them. All very very positive stuff, they are desperate to keep him.

Its a good loan move that is working out for Troy, he's only 19 so it will bring him on superbly.

It suits him to a tee and being a key man in a side that will be in the cut throat midst of a League 1 promotion battle is a huge experience for him.

As for the better then Bamford comment Christ if he ends up better then Bamford I'd take that in a heartbeat. 😂

People love to get carried away and this has been the case with Parrott since he first came on the scene at 17. He is 19 now and finally looks to be starting to find his feet. He scored a peno on Saturday which he admittedly made himself, but he also had 7 shots none of which found the net. Give him time, he's a good young prospect, but his record isnt screaming selection at this point. IMHO he should still be playing with the Under 21s (who badly need a striker) for this campaign.

from the games hes played as far as i can make out also he has has quite a few chances. if he can start to put away a few more of these as he is getting experience he could turn into quite a decent finisher. If he was able to get 10 for the season that would be a nice figure. Anything above that would be a bonus i reckon. I was disappointed he wasn't involved in the last games properly.
