5 in his last 6 for club and country. 2 MOTM awards on the bounce if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully this gives him the confidence to go on and have a breakout season.

The recent form of Adam Idah and Callum Robinson is proving some much needed succour as well.

Now we just need Aaron Connolly to start growing up and we'll be flying it!

His off the ball movement was absolutely top class for those two goals in the last few days.

Two cool finishes giving the goalies no chance.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was put on loan again to a Championship club next season on the back of a hopefully good season in League 1 for MK Dons.

I would love to see him knock in 15-20 or so this season. Would be a great foundation for whatever he does after. He has 3-4 years to develop into a prem striker.

The striking thing was he looked like his confident self. has to stay knuckled down now and hopefully the last year has taught him he can't let up and not to get carried away

Seems to score as many with his left as he does his right. A good sign.
First time he is really being trusted leading the line in a more number 9 role versus deeper and he is definitely looking more dangerous in the role.

Great finish, outside of the box with his weaker foot. His last 2 goals have been done in 2 touches, showing his confidence levels must be high. Also, it helps that MK Dons seem to be a footballing side, in comparison to Millwall and Ipswich who, lets face it, were fairly bad last season.

I wouldn't be 100% sure that his assist was meant for the player who scored but the control to take it down, and the strength to hold off the defender while doing it show that he might be more physically developed than last season.

Does anyone know how MK Dons were expected to do this season?

Finished 13th last season but paid a club record fee for Mo Eisa and obviously signed Parrott too and had a highly rated young manager in Russell Martin so you'd imagine there was a positive feeling at the club. However, Martin has left for Swansea and they brought in a new manager, Liam Manning, who also had limited experience so that may have tempered expectations a little. If Eisa and Parrott can keep scoring then who knows. Parrott spoke at the weekend about their understanding of one another and it was evident last night in Eisa's goal.

O'Hora at the back is racking up appearances at a young age so hopefully things go well.

I would love to see him knock in 15-20 or so this season.

Yet, Anthony Scully knocked in 17 last season as a 21 year old playing as a forward across the front line yet he hasnt got the recognition. He also has 2 goals in the same league so far.

The argument will be that Parrott is doing it two years younger than Scully did (19 going on 20 v 21 going on 22), and it's a relevant point to be fair. But I do think Scully deserves more of a look in also. Should have had a call up for the summer games.

That was a top class finish from Parrott last night - receiving the ball at full pace, one touch and slotting pass the keeper - showed great confidence. I see they have have Ipswich at the weekend. Interesting to see how that goes.
