It'll allow them to grow up and be more independent, different coaching and style of football too can only help in his development, and that is where is he now - he's a development player making that switch into senior football. Playing in Holland or elsewhere is a win win for me. |

Whatevr about the Feyenoord link I’m actually far happier seeing him spend another season in L1 then the Championship. Parrott looked like a child in a mans sport last year and I think if he moved to another Championship club it might have been similar.
League 1 gives him time to find his feet further still get regular gametime at a lower level and hopefully score a few goals. I only see MK Dons play once last year but they played some really nice football so hopefully that was the case last year in general and will be the case this year too. They scored 64 goals too despite being only 13th which backs up the fact they played nice football. Only the top 6/7 play off teams scored more. |

I'd say he's more likely to get gametime for MK Dons in League 1 then he would have at Feyenoord tbh (though I don't know the level of Striker they have there but i'd imagine they be above Parrott in terms of development)

I'd say the Feyenoord thing was just bullsh*t to be honest. If he was going to the Eredivisie it would need to be to one of the smaller teams.
MK Dons makes sense, I haven't seen much of them but I'm sure I remember that they play decent football that should suit a player like Troy. With a season of first team football behind him if he can get a full pre-season I'd expect him to go well there. He'll be out of the limelight of the Championship which is no harm, another had season at that level could do more damage than good. Would be great to see him have a season similar to Scully's at Lincoln last year, 10+ goals and a few assists and MoMs also. Easy to forget that he'll only be 20 at the end of next season. Plenty of time for him to go to the Championship or to Europe in the 22/23 season if next season goes well with MK.

100%, and I think this is one of the suggestions that football clubs (particularly in England) should be really making to young players in their early twenties, if they are not playing on a regular basis. I probably believe that loans to the lower leagues of of relatively limited benefit, and little or nothing actually changes.

I watched the MKDons vs Tottenham pre season game yesterday and they played some really good stuff.
I think this could be a good move for parrott, if he does really well then come January maybe a championship team could throw their hat in for him. |

Yeah, I don’t mind him playing league one if he’s with a team that’s playing a bit of ball.

For a team that finished 13th they had a +2 goal difference, something like 64 goals scored and 62 conceded. Compared to Ipswich who scored and conceded 46 goals. By all accounts they're a possession based team and play 352.
You've also got Warren O'Hora and Josh Martin whose Irish qualified there. Edited by J89 - 29 Jul 2021 at 5:24pm |

I'd be happier for him in League One, with a decent side, getting regular games. Prove to everyone that he can deliver. I think the jury is out on whether he can make it at the top level. If he cant do it this season at a club like MK, then there is every chance he will be shifted on from Spurs next summer.

Parrot has been pro active and has now got himself a loan move that will pretty much guarantee first team football from the start of the new season.
We need to see the same from - Coventry Molumby Hodge Connell And a lot more to boot.

Not good at all. Hopefully this was all known behind-the-scenes and MK Dons to announce new manager who has already approved Parrott. Otherwise this could be another mare of a loan for Troy.
