That's one of the weakest and most unrealistic teams you could imagine.

That's the biggest over reaction you could imagine.

The goal keeper, defence and midfield personnel, I'd have no problem with it.

Connolly and Idah will probably be in Kenny's first choice front 3 anyway.

My only issue is the system he has here. Kenny is definitely playing 2 wide men in the front 3.

Cullen as the sitter with Knight and Hourihane. I could live with that.

Who exactly is coming into that team to make it the most realistic team you could imagine?

4 of the starting 11 may not be included in the squad. Let alone start it.
Idah and Parrott shouldn't be in the squad, let alone the starting 11.

Hourihane is too light weight and we need a midfield to protect the back 4.

Do you honestly think he's going to start leaving out all our experienced players away from home in our first game of the campaign! - no chance.

It's just names on paper. That's why it's the it's one of the weakest and most unrealistic teams you could imagine.

How many of that 11 do you reckon will start Horsey? Assuming there’s no injuries

                  Randolph
Coleman O'Shea Clark Stevens
   McCarthy Cullen Hendrick
        Connolly Long Brady

Think something like this is probably pretty close to the starting 11, barring injuries.

With the players we have available at this moment, McCarthy and Hendrick will play. Arter, Brady and Robinson would be options too.

I'd be surprised to see Clark start as he hasn't been included before and I'm not sure that he's too keen on Cullen either.
He does rate Hourihane although most of fans don't including myself.

Knight and Molumby may play from the bench.

He should be starting with a defensively strong team - it's imperative that we get a result.

Ciaran Clark probably our best defender on current form, Coleman has to play as well I think.

Paul Cooks first game in charge today? What sort of a manager is he in terms of the type of football he plays? Have heard he plays decent football but don’t know enough about him to say for sure?

With a view to Parrott that is.

Good coach and good man that will suit Parrott. Very tidy football played by his teams.

I missed the shot that hit the woodwork but watched most of the rest and thought he was average at best.
Gave it away cheaply several times too which was poor play.
Overall a poor game today.

We are so desperate for this lad to do well we look for the smallest little bit of positivity ie hitting the post.
I have watched every game he has played be it Millwall or Ipswich and he is just not good enough. No more excuses

Well even if its just the people who have said the thread will go into meltdown who post, it will indeed be in meltdown.

Ipswich had one shot on target today vs the 6 on target Gillingham had.

Parrott apparently had on overhead kick hit the post but that was it.

I'm inclined to measure parrott on his performances with ipswich rather than his goals. This season will be a learning curve for him. It'll improve him for next season.

Would you take any positives from how these two loans have gone for him?

Yep.. He is playing more football a job he is getting paid well for but he is not doing his job according to his job description, scoring goals.. I want this lad to succeed as much as everyone but at the moment I can't see it unfortunately.
