Watching the game, he been average, one half chance blocked. Millwall as we all keep saying are woeful cant string two passes together.hope he can get a goal in 2nd half. McNamara looks there best player at the moment.

another start for TP today - time to get that goal

Yeah just saw that too, that's i think 3 starts in a row for him so there's faith in him that's for sure.

A goal would be very welcome but a good performance is must.

Either that or they've been told to play him by Spurs.

How’s McNamara playing?

That’s a bit frustrating he’s starting games for them great but you’d love to see him score a goal even 1 to get him rolling.

He just taken off there. Couldn't really blame parrott there in the 2nd half 6 out of 10 kinda perform for me. Millwall have one win in 15 games

This should be a good learning experience for him - when he went over first it was all milk and honey with things going his way. Hoping he’ll recognise the work required to make it as a successful pro career for himself.

People seem to forget that Harry Kane had similar experiences on loan. Doesn't mean anything yet.

This is true, however Kane broke into a Tottenham side with Soldado as his competition with Tim Sherwood in charge.

Parrot has one of the best in the world to contend with and Mourinho. Even if he waits out Mourinho, Kane will still be starting for another 5 years.

I’d be more worried it could knock his confidence.
He is used to scoring regularly under 18/21/23’s

The championship is a very tough level.
Maybe he would have better at a lower level.

You'd hope that it'll make him realise how hard he has to work to make it at the top level and ensuring he doesn't end up slogging it out for teams like Millwall for the rest of his career.

Sometimes its not about how hard you work but just having the mental strength to believe in yourself no matter what's put in your way.
I'm good mates with Niall Quinn and he went through a few periods of poor performances and being called a donkey but he always had the strength to overcome as he had a belief in himself and maybe self centred but that's what it takes.
Troy will come good and he will come out the other side of this loan move a better player.

He hasn’t been without controversy in the past but I have always got the impression he’s a quiet lad too. Seems to have that demeanour. Millwall are badly missing crowds too especially at home they are one of these teams there home fans  are partisan.

He is getting minutes anyways every week and tbf it’s hard to blame him for their problems.

The manager has to be on close to borrowed time there at this stage?

Knocking in goals at L1, L2 or even with a lower SP team would be better early on then move to Championship afterwards.

Championship football is proper mens footy. Not for for the faint hearted. Bit too soon for a kid.
