Nice one. Be great if he was to score. Some badly needed positivity would be great.

Has had an OK first half.
Milwall struggling to create but he's picked up some good balls and looks comfortable, fit and strong.

Won the free which lead to the goal and hopefully the game opens up a bit now.

Played well, held it up well and made a few nice passes, looks like he could play the l9ne striker role for us or even deeper . Wont score many goals in that Millwall team though .

I wouldn’t be getting too wound up about him not scoring goals in that team. You could call last night an assist if stretching it but for me the priority is getting fit and staying fit and 25-30 games under his belt this season and getting a huge education.

It’s easy to forget as he’s been hyped up as the 2nd coming by us and Spurs fans for 2 years now but he’s still 18 and not 19 until February.

He played well and looked more then comfortable at that level against a good side. Staying fit and getting that education under his belt is what I’d like to see.

If he really is the second coming of christ he should be scoring for any championship team, so hopefully he lashes them in if he keeps playing

5-8 league goals would be a good return for him this year.

Is there any ireland player scoring 5 to 8 goals in a season?

I can think of James Collins last season but I think he's only got 1 or 2 this season so far.

I don't blame anyone for cynicism when it comes to hopeful Irish players, when was the last time we had a top class forward or midfielder? The two Keanes really.

Never said he was did I hence the not expecting him to lash in goals for that Millwall side who I think any striker would struggle to lash them in for.

Regular games and if he got 10-15 goals/assists that’s a fabulous return at this stage of his evolution as the special one himself says.
