Not Holland! The clamour is bad enough now without him becoming the new Byrne or Crowley!

Harry Kane played 1 Premier League game before turning 20.

He scored the sum total of 1 goal for Spurs before turning 20.

He scored a total of 3 Premier League goals before turning 21.

The season he was 18, he played 33 games in total and scored 10 (9 for Millwall on loan).

The following season, he played 21 games and scored twice (both in the Championship for Norwich on loan).

Let's not get carried away here. If Troy Parrott goes on loan to a Championship club next season, he should get some game time and a chance to progress.

I feel the focus on Troy Parrott on here is symptom of how bad ireland have been for so many years.

We're in a position of seeing a player with big potential and feel the need to see him develop as soon as possible in a pitiful act of desperation.

I must admit that I've been sucked into the furore and cant wait to see him get his chance.

Papers have him hanging out with Lee Byrne, nephew of David Byrne.

Guilty by associated I suppose etc...

He’s been hanging around with lee Byrne for years...plus quite a few other let’s say unfriendly lads....Supposedly Byrne And his crew have a line going in borrowing high powered cars...and not giving them back.

Not on the bench and Jose talking him down again on BT pre match. Said he doesn't have the 'emotional maturity' yet.

Jamie Redknapp saying Troy is the real deal and can go “to the very top”. Based on that assessment, I’ll have to give José the benefit of the doubt
