Ireland are the only team in the finals who won every single one of their qualifying games.
The only team in Europe to manage such a feat. Not to be scoffed at, in these dark times for our senior team and the state of our football association.

Considering the run they have been on, there's a great chance to go far in that tournament, especially with some of the bigger nations missing out.

How does the seeding work?
Surely we have one of the best qualifying records and will be 1st / 2nd seed? Assume Armenia are top seeds in group A as hosts. Almost guaranteed that one team out of Ireland, Norway, Czech Republic and Armenia will be in the semi-finals, let’s hope it’s us. I think they’ll stick with the squad that qualified for the tournament but expect Parrott and Idah to be drafted in if there’s any injuries.

From Wiki The final draw will be held in spring or early summer 2019 in Armenia.[5]
The eight teams are drawn into two groups of four teams. There is no
seeding, except that the hosts Armenia are assigned to position A1 in
the draw. So an open draw, Look to avoid perhaps two or a group with of the following Spain, Italy and Portugal and we'd have a very good chance of making the semis. A group of Armenia, Czech R, Norway would be the the dream

How do you know that wouldn't be the worst draw? How do we know the Czechs and Norwegians aren't the teams to avoid?

Well tbh I don't but Spain , France, Italy and Portugal have a decent record at under 19 age level they have 12 championships between them ( 7,3, 1,1 respectively) compare that to Armenia - only their second appearance, didn't make out of group last time (2005) qualified as hosts this time. Czech Rep- runners ups once in 2011 Norway- qualified 5 times yet to get out of the group |

Is anyone thinking of heading over to these championships? Planning to go over if things work out at a decent price. Armenia seems to be around Georgian prices so not too bad.

Obviously but you get what I mean, Portugal qualified with the best record and are defending champions France usually have very good youth teams Spain likewise as do the Italians As proven by their overall records. Would Armenia have qualified had they not been hosts? Norway obviously done well to qualify above Germany another team who usually do well at youth level. The Czech's only seemed to qualify as England seemed to bottle it (not saying they aren't a decent team but they did lose to England 4-1)
