This the 1 thing I took serious notice of in PM post and know what happens when you leave things and push them to the back of the mind. After fighting with things in my own mind for 10 years I finally had to admit defeat the week before Christmas after having a breakdown due to work and told my boss I wanted to leave etc (thankfully she knew I didn't mean this) and after a chat with her and family I finally had to admit defeat and say I needed help and will be attending consoling sessions now in the new year

I was 1 of them young males who thought he could cope on his own and push things to the back of the head in a hope they will disappear but they don't and will eventually surface again until you face up to them

A supportive Manager at work goes a long way... When you're so full of anxiety you just don't want to commit to things anymore and time out is necessary to relieve the pressure and come back when you're ready on your own terms.

Unfortunately I don't have a supportive workplace, maybe because of the industry I'm in, but when I had my little disappearance last April, they weren't supportive of me at all and even now relations are pretty non-existent and even then that's creating pressure for me because I can't predict when the next anxiety attack will happen and the same argument as before will happen.

Learned yesterday of the loss of a 24 year old girl known to all my family to suicide.  Fooking epidemic proportions now.  An absolutely beautiful young woman in every way, one of 6 kids, lovely parents.  Pressure on the young nowadays is scary.........poor kid. RIP.

just before xmas was at a funeral (25 year old committed suicide) in Kinsale and was talking to the undertaker and he said in the first 3 weeks of December he had 6 suicides. all males under 40 Cry
