Never seeen them live, but the idea of the Slane travel is put off. Might look at renting somewhere down there = or does that sell out very quickly too?

Have ya been there recently? I was at Foo Fighters there a few years back and while yes there was traffic, it was no worse than any football match I'd been to

The Cure just announced a save the date for June 8tg for Dublin... I know slane is meath but you never know

more excited about seeing Ghost again...my favourite band at the moment! Was a massive Metallica fan growing up but haven't listened much for years but haven't seen them in 14 yearsShockedso it should be good! Bad news is the ultimate bandwagoner herself the missus has deprived me a day out with the lads by going! In better news my mate has bought a house ten minutes from Slane so will bunk there

It's a horrible place to get out of if you don't use the Buses. Went to GnR two years ago and getting out of there was an absolute pain even though we left pretty much as they left the stage. Now I'd imagine the weather had some part to play as the area were the car park was was basically a mud field.

Shedite is the only person I've ever seen say Slane isn't a nightmare to get out of. It's a f**king disaster. Always is and always will be.

FYI we stayed in a friends house who lived about 10/20 minutes drive from Slane grounds took us about 2 hours to get back there.

As said the weather cause a few issues because there were gobsh*tes who decided to just abandon their cars blocking some of the exits and we had to wait until they were moved.
