I think the goal should have stood. I liked the old when it's incredibly close the benefit of the doubt should go with the attacking team part of the offside rule.Should VAR be the end of that?

A very enjoyable match an result. I was hoping the Dutch would get a fourth goal to avenge Euro 96.

Fcuk Rice and Fcuk England.

In fairness he has learned his lesson.

He'll make sure they're not holding a phone recording him the next time he does it.

Ben Chilwell lost possession 29 times last night. 29. More than double the amount of the next worst offender. That is a pretty incredible stat for a player who has been linked with Man City!

It's all well and good trying to play out from the back but, funnily enough considering his meltdown last night, Stones is probably the only England defender really capable of actually doing it effectively. Chilwell, Maguire and Walker all look pretty uncomfortable attempting it.

Maguire seems to be City's number 1 centre back target this summer to replace Kompany, if you believe the papers.
Never struck me as comfortable in possession

Pretty good results today. Don’t think any of the teams above us lost.

Good for us as the Ukraine are League B. Although as we are 23rd and only 20 teams directly qualify, hoping a few league A teams don’t auto qualify (Iceland seems like a good shout for this) so we get a decent seeding if we need it for the playoffs.

Looks like of the League B teams above us, Austria is the only I’d say is a serious risk not to qualify. Bosnia could be struggling and hopefully Wales /Slovakia pip Croatia in their group.

Other way to look at things is hope 4 League B teams ahead of us don’t qualify and we get put in the League A playoffs which looks like it might consist of Iceland + League B/C teams, but that’s kind of risky if a strong League A team fails to qualify.
