I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

It was even more incredible considering how sluggish they looked in the first half. Mannion was excellent in that period.

Dont know much about GAA but was watching the news on Thursday at 6pm and they interviewed the Mayo manager James Horan. He said they would have a tough intense training session tonight (ie Thursday night before a Sat game). Now I know a bit about training for other sports but wouldn't that be a schoolboy error? All my knowledge would be you train hard but coming up to a game you have very light sessions to have you ticking over and to save your energy for the game. In my mind their last tough training session should have been somewhere around Mon or Tuesday. Maybe a reason they were sh*te 2nd half?

With increased ticket prices and more games to attend if you're reaching the last four, it's no surprise attendances are dropping. The Super 8's should be just one f**king quarter-final outside of Croke Park.
Was happy to see Tyrone lose cause I think Kerry have 1% greater chance of beating Dublin. Small margins and all that Savage 2nd half from Dublin. They dominated a team that for years got under their skin. At the same time, there's 11 of the Mayo panel that were there for 2011 semi-final. They can't keep producing it year in year out. That being said, there is no excuses for another disappearing act by Aidan O'Shea. |
