Great win for the Rossies. Galway were shocking in the 2nd half

Couldn't have mapped a better Connacht title for the Rossies. They are a very, very good side.

The referee waving off thousands of Rossie fans after the early pitch invasion you have to love the GAA

"I called him an embarrassment to FIFA and to himself," .... He said 'No-one speaks to me like that'.... and I said, "well I do' and that was that."

They're not though. They're a physical team, who try their damndest.(Great trait) They beat a Galway team who've been sh*te in 3 games now. They beat a Mayo team where 9 times out of 10 they would have lost if they were up against a team with any sort of forward with shooting boots on. Cunningham has done great work and deserves great credit but they will get found out in Croker, as will be seen when they face Dublin. Although I'm looking forward to the bombardment of direct ball into Smith and Cox v the Dub back line. Depending on how the draw and qualifiers go they could nick a win somewhere but I'd not fancy them to do much more. For the sake of a dark horse I'd like too see it but Donegal are a superior team from Div 2 I should let them have their moment mind. If your going to win Connacht that's the way to do it. Away to the 2 main players

Well organised and hard to break down with some clearly very talented footballers. Don't get half enough credit

H&S gone mad. Ever notice how it's always a round 5,000 it's reduced by? So many GAA stadiums now have plenty of room across large sections of the terrace thanks to this overkill. There's no real science behind it. Some suit comes in and ticks a few boxes. Toilets not up to standard, tick, steps not painted, tick, right lads 5,000 reduction. I've been in stadiums 20 years ago with 30k in attendance and they're now reduced to 10k. I'm not saying 30k is safe but when they were reduced to 20k a few years back it was absolutely fine.

A little nervy about it. We should have enough but you just never know with Mayo. Actually fancy Armagh to get by Monaghan.

Well thats that for another years. Time for Malachy to step aside as I’ve said previously. He brought us some wonderful days but its gone stale now and change needed. In saying that, the players need to take a look at themselves.

Monaghan out after a bit of a thumping from Armagh. Must be the first time in a while that Monaghan are out before Cavan
