When you watch the tv and you see ads by AIB, Electric Ireland and either Aldi or Lidl about the gaa it makes you wonder why aren't the FAI and league sponsers doing the same here, even when you go to the cinema You see them there. You take the ads the IRFU and Vodafone I think it was, where they had four internationals and they showed them growing up, getting into rugby and going onto being internationals. FAI could easily have copied this with the likes of Coleman, McClean and others who've came through the league and went on to play for Ireland.

The bigger the LOI becomes the more of a threat its voices and supporters are to the establishment of the power that's in place.

LOI will never pose a threat to the establishment. Schoolboy and junior clubs keep the establishment in place and there numbers dwarf anything the LOI have or ever will have.

I agree with you and that's a reason my point is valid.

Great. Not sure fielding a team of women against Dundalk is a good idea though.

" The FAI needs dedicated people dedicated to specific roles with marketing imagination. It needs needs deals which are are not specific to one club across the league in terms of advertising campaigns and promotion, sponsorship and in terms of the tv deals.

Most of all the league needs leadership and care from the very top of the association."

Brian Kerr speaking to the Limerick Leader paper.

Kerr's stuttering isn't improving, but he's made a wonderful career as a TV pundit.
His environment won't challenge him on mis-spoken comments or his defence of the UEFA Club Co-efficient measurement system.

I'm glad him and tv punditry are considered outside Irish Football.
