Why a drop ball there? Should it not have been a corner?

yeah both spot on regards the penos, but if the first wasnt a peno it should have been a corner to Weds?

Don’t know the ins & outs of VAR but I’d presume where the ref makes an incorrect decision & it’s overturned by VAR the automatic decision would be drop ball

yeah must be it. Maybe its something that may be fine tuned, not as if the actual peno call would have changed the outcome of the ball going for a corner in that situation. In the natural process, if ref had have not blown for the peno, its was clearly a corner almost instantly anyway.

I’m sure the Met police are delighted that Wimbledon knocked out West Ham.
"Tell them to get out there and give it all they got and win just one for the Zipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Doc," he said, "but I won't smell too good, that's for sure."

It would have been a great tie. Probably would have been played at half seven on the Monday morning though!

I was critical of Pochettino's take on the FA Cup, considering how little they have won in the last few decades, but it's hard to argue with the focus on a top 4 finish when you see what each tournament is worth. 6.6 million (unsure if it is Euro or GBP) for an FA Cup win, compared to 70 odd million for CL qualification.
