I'd guess at being against France or Switzerland in 2005, at the end of Brian Kerr's reign.

No, Clinton Morrison (who started both games) was at Palace in the Championship/First Division at the time He did start the season with Birmingham in the Premier League, but had moved to Palace two weeks before the France game |

Thought he was still at Birmingham then. I think it must be earlier in that campaign then but Faroe Islands was the last competitive game before France and Ian Harte played that game. Pretty sure he was with Levante at the time.

Morrison & Kenny's last games were against Cyprus IIRC and they were both Championship players at the time. I'm going to say Wales in March '07.

Douglas was with Leeds when he started against Wales, McGeady started against Slovakia while he was still at Celtic
You're not too far away

My last guess would be the Czech games the 1-1 / 1-0 loss.

Wayne Henderson started against the Czechs in the 1-1 game, McGeady started the 1-0 loss
Andy Keogh started both those games, he was with Wolves in the Championship at the time. Still almost there, there's not many more games from that time. Edited by tetsujin1979 - 10 Aug 2018 at 2:18pm |

Wales 2-2 or 1-0 win against Slovakia? There could have been a friendly that summer that I cannot remember.

McGeady started both of those games
McGeady started this game too. It's a Staunton game. Can't be too many left at this stage! |

Doyle was still with Reading in the Championship for the Chile game. That was the season they were promoted, so I guess you'd have to argue on what date does the club actually get promoted, if you follow. FWIW Miller was on loan at Leeds at the time as well. McShane started against San Marino, was still with West Brom in the Championship |
