With the new premier league season starting this week, I'll be publishing a series of stats blogs during the week focusing on appearance data from the top division. Today's blog focusses on the last Irish player to score in the Premier League for each team in the 2018/19 PL season. How many can you name?

Interesting, I'll have a guess

Arsenal - O'Leary
Bournemouth - Arter
Brighton - Duffy
Burnley - Ward
Cardiff - Mason
Chelsea - Duff
Palace - Delaney
Everton - Coleman
Fulham - Duff
Huddersfield - N/A?
Leicester - No idea
Liverpool -  Keane
City - Ireland
United - O'Shea
Newcastle - Clark
Saints - Long
Spurs - Keane
Watford - Hoban
West Ham - O'Brien
Wolves - Doyle

Alan Lee played for Huddersfield

The question says in the EPL though, a lot of clubs won't have any in that case.

Arter, Duff (both), Huddersfield, Keane(both), Ireland, Clark. O'Brien, Doyle all correct.
This is for games in the Premier League only, not Championship, cup, Europe, etc

Good catch. There's five clubs without an Irish goalscorer in the Premier league from this season's list of clubs

Today's question:
Name the two Irish players who played in the Premier League 2017/18 season but have not played senior international football for Ireland

yep, well done.
I updated the Premier league data for the site over the summer, and have counted 42 players who have appeared at least once in the Premier League, but have not (yet) earned an international cap: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/Blog?id=3079832700603167034

Before the new Premier League season kicks off tomorrow, I wondered how many times an Ireland team has been named with 11 starting players who have played in the top division in England: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/Blog?id=9145708275780745828

Final question before the new premier league season starts, when was the last time Ireland named a starting XI of players who were all at premier league clubs?
Hint: it hasn't happened under the current, or previous manager

This is the stat I'm least confident in, so the answer I have might be wrong
