I thought they played well in parts, Bernardo was the best player on the pitch in that half. They weren’t even remotely close to “absolutely abysmal”

I'll rephrase, abysmal defensively in that first half. Much better control in the second half.

Dug it out. Huge win for City. Spurs blew that, some serious chances spurned.

Would agree about Bernardo Silva also. A superb player. He behaves like a toerag of a human being on the pitch though. The amount of feigning injury he does is a sight to behold.

Spurs denied at least one stonewall penalty in that second half.

I called it long ago that Manchester St. Germain had refrees bought off and how it is proving so.

Was strange that there were two undeliberate handballs in the box second half yet Sky focussed on one with about 12 replays compared to the one at the other end that had 3

Champions find a way Sid. It’ll quite embarrassing for you by seasons end of Liverpool come second considering some of your posts. Finishing second with their points tally isn’t embarrassing by the way, just your conduct

Surprised Son didn’t get a nomination
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

It's a real pity Spurs don't have a player called Cyril

I suppose Harry will do

Son is a great player and worthy of being top three

I have to be obvious here and suggest it's down to racism

Especially in a league where a player does a Nazi salute and gets exonerated because he claims to have never heard of Hitler

Will United be able to hold out city for the first 20 minutes? City seem to score very early in ever league game lately. I think that's the decider. If Liverpool win today and united draw or beat City I think their goose is cooked.

Only for the obvious issues around games missed with S Korea (Korea Rep.) whatever.

For me Son, is the only player near VVD. By the seasons end, he could easily be the standout. The whole thing is a total farce

Ah come on Hans, there's no way you can dismiss the season Sterling has had.

Son - 28 apps, 12 goals, 6 assists.
Sterling - 30 apps, 17 goals, 9 assists.

It'll come down to whoever wins the league IMO.

Has to be them 2.

VVD has been amazing for Liverpool.

Sterling stats this season are brilliant and I still think he could score more. He could have a 30+ goal season soon imo.
