England/Belgium will known the Brazil & Germany results beforehand.... Brazil may end up playing Germany next.

The Japan/Colombia/Senegal will happen after.

IMO they have to try and keep the momentum going rather than try and secure an easier fixture on paper.

For f**k sake, england were heavily favourites to win both of those games. Reaction on the back of winning them is beyond embarrassing.

How dare the English show any enthusiasm towards their team!!

Imagine the reaction in Ireland if we beat anyone 6-1 at the world cup. LOL

From what I've seen off their coverage their hyping up by the media hasn't been any worse than usual.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Should be the worst game in World Cup history more like.

Because of how results have gone in the other groups it’s potentially more beneficial for either side to finish 2nd.

Confused

Yeah it's all in Irish peoples head. Lads who watch everything on RTE because of all the nonsense they're spouting on BBC, without ever actually checking what BBC are saying.

I know actual perspective goes out the window after a victory of such substance, but the likes of lampard and Ferdinand coming out with comments that they will win the WC, or that they fear no one is laughable. they played decent ball vs Tunisia for the opening 15/20 mins and then struggled, just about getting away with 3 points. then panama were appalling, up there with one of the worst WC teams ever. Thursday should give a bit more of an indication as to what direction this England team are going.

I will enjoy watching two teams, that in all likely hood will score goals. But then again it should be the Worst Game in the history of the WC Confused

You’re deluded. Be more like a pre-season friendly trying to avoid cards/injury

The England game tomorrow has potential to be be an absolutely farce. Both teams trying their best to lose to get the handy side of the draw.

I can see it now, Southgate will start Danny Welbeck to make sure they have as little chance as possible of winning and he'll go and bag himself a hat trick and the title of public enemy number one.

I think they might regret that if either get Colombia, I would fancy them to beat either Belgium or England based on their Polish performance.
