By the same token, I think a few lads need to stop getting their knickers in a twist about people cheering for, or against, certain teams.
Harsh booking for Poulsen, out of the 3rd game now.

I think a few lads needs to build a f**king bridge at this stage, it's hardly like we were controversially knocked out. They beat us 5-1 ffs

I don't get that at all, why would you want them to do badly?

Not at all, which is why I'm not cheering for Serbia in their games either.

Why unfortunately? Surely you'd want the team that beat us to do well? Much nicer to be beat by a team that makes the quarters/semi's or whatever than one who doesn't even make it out of the group. |

Lovely goal.
Give Eriksen space and he'll punish you as we found out

big issue for England and ourselves is that we have work horses or runners in midfield. Their work horses and runners play at a higher level than our lads.
They have no one who controls a game by keeping possession and either do we.

f**k Denmark, it should be us there. They robbed us of a place at the World Cup coming over here and fluking a 5-1. I can't bring myself to watch them. Rot in hell Denmark

I actually think that Alan Judge could fulfil that technical role, if he stays injury free. But I actually think if Rice could be cultivated as a DM, Robbie Brady be utilised on the left wing, and McCarthy is given a slightly more advanced role alongside Arter/Judge, with somebody on the right wing in the McGeady mould (taking your point that we do lack for technical midfielders, we could actually do quite well with the ball at feet.
