Good man yourself! You did indeed destroy us 5-1, however on the basis of the tournament so far that result would appear to say a lot more about our team than yours. Congrats on qualifying for the next round anyway, real spine tingling stuff yesterday.

Doesn't work like that. A skeleton fixture schedule is set a year or so before the tournament so you have the likes of C1 v C4 in Moscow on Tuesday 26th June at 5pm local time. Luck of the draw last December that France and Denmark were drawn into those positions to play in that fixture.

Pathetic from them alright. They had a free shot at topping the group as second place was guaranteed and they opted to kill the game.

Embarrassing stuff from Denmark. Will enjoy their inevitable loss to Croatia next week. Absolute wasters.

Total sh1te as it was always going to be. They should have scheduled this game and England vs Belgium as the first or second game in the group when it would mean so much more.

2-0 now Peru. No reason at all at this point for Denmark not to go all out for the win.
2nd place in group will play Croatia and then likely Spain. 1st place in group will play Nigeria/Argies and then Portugal/Uruguay.

The longer the Aussies stay losing the more likely you'd imagine Denmark are to eventually push forward and try and nab the win. Croatia clearly look to be a team to avoid in this competition so winning this group could be crucial for France or Denmark.

France vs. Denmark looks guaranteed to be the first 0-0 of this World Cup.
But surely France remember 1984, 1998 and 2000. They never win major tournaments without beating Denmark in the group stage and should be trying to win this.

There was/is very little hope of Australia getting out of this group and the race for 1st and 2nd place between France and Denmark leaves me cold. Boring conclusion.

?? Australia can still qualify. Need France to win as themselves and score more goals then Denmark - a 1-0 to Australia and a 1-0 to France see's Aussies through but a 1-0 to Australia and a 3-2 to France sees Denmark through.

Will France and Denmark play out a draw? It will mean they finish 1,2 regardless of the other result. However if Denmark win they top the group and avoid Croatia. Pogba dropped to the bench as he is on a yellow.

They would be short odds favourites if that was the case and would be coming in as European champions.

France could be great if they had a competent manager!
Matuidi playing left midfield is up there with one of the worst decisions any manager has made during this World Cup and that includes Hierro benching Thiago.
