Dunphy asked him when did he think life began, he answered at conception, to which Dunphy said well then do you not think the morning after pill could be seen as a form of abortion and he went off on a rant about the media typically trying to turn this into something else and continued on to call Dunphy a f**king bollox and told him to f**k off before he walked off

In the event of a tight defeat the people that can take a share of credit for it are the virtue signallers who sat on the sidelines during the referendum, and rather than knocking on doors, or heading to areas where a no vote was on the cards, sat behind their warm keyboards and clicked "share" and "like" on every repeal meme and long winded post. The fact that some people genuinely believe that politics plays itself out on social media is truly mind boggling.

Exactly my point

When you're weary, feeling small
When tears are in your eyes, Eamon Dunphy will dry them all
He's on your side, oh, when times get rough
And friends just can't be found, but...
Like a Bridge Over Troubled Waters

"f**k Off” you will shout

Like a Bridge Over Troubled Waters
You will storm right out

When you're down and out
When humiliation's complete
When the 8th has fallen so hard
Who will comfort you
Who'll take your part, oh, when repeal comes
And abortion is all around
Like a Bridge Over Troubled Waters
“f**k off” you will shout
Like a Bridge Over Troubled Waters
You will storm right out

Seems to be coming down to that for a lot of people - vote for the crowd you hate less.

Stupid way to decide an important issue

A week to go in the campaign.

I had hoped that a clear lead for repeal would have developed by this stage, but hoping is not enough, nor does it have to accept the realities of the situation. I feel this is a particularly close race, and it could get even dirtier before the media moratorium kicks in at 2pm next Thursday.

I remember “”No” campaigner Maria Steen from the Marriage Referendun, she was against gay marriage.

In my opinion she comes across as one cold fish.

Steen is apparently a freak alright, and not in a good way.

Serious Opus Dei head.

She barred any music from her wedding reception.

Shame that - Ave Maria would have been a guaranteed floor filler.
