Anyone else hearing that all coaches and buses that go through the port tunnel on the day after a certain time will be deemed as away fans and will be directed to the RDS for parking?

Friendly and all, but what are the ramifications if we lose to Norn Iron?

I find it hard to believe that it will be dismissed as meaningless, especially with everything that has surrounded the team over the last year.

It can be dismissed as a friendly match. It is part of an incremental rebuild. Omelettes and eggs. Judge us based on Denmark. The plethora of excuses that can be trotted out can paint defeat as irrelevant. But by the same token, victory might well be pointed to as a sign of development.

The last year has not been good, and for a lot of reasons. But Thursday nights game won’t change much.

Even though many people want Martin O Neill and the management team out the door as quick with some even hoping to lose the recent fixtures for him to be pushed out I would still hate to lose on Thursday. A win on Thursday shouldn’t and probably won’t be the deciding factor in O Neill being sacked or not. The only reason he will be kept in the job is that the Fai don’t want to pay out the end of his contract or we get a huge hammering in these two games which I hope doesn’t happen but could in Denmark.

As unrealistic as it gets each day, I want O'Neill sacked. And I wouldn't lose sleep if Denmark hammered us Monday.

However, I don't want those other f**kers to beat us even on the corner stats on Thursday.

AFAIK the association pays for Gardaí inside the stadium and the Govt/Council pays for Gardaí outside the stadium.

"One team in Ireland"
"There'll be one team in Ireland"
"Tell them to get out there and give it all they got and win just one for the Zipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Doc," he said, "but I won't smell too good, that's for sure."

FAI and foresight do not go in the same sentence.  Would like to meet him and buy him a pint for that goal.

Was very outspoken about them in his book so not surprising. Shameful all the same.
