Dave Chisnall left the BDO and beat Phil Taylor up a stick at the exhibition event at Ally Pally in his first year there.

Yet all these are the exact same players that the boot boys were deluding themselves were "no use" for years.

The boot boys deludedly attempted to deride Raymond van Barneveld and John Part as "fake world champions". Yet when they eventually moved to the pdc, they well and truly put the plastic champion Phil Taylor back in his box. The reality is that there was only one world darts champion in 1994 - John Part. And there was only one world darts champion in 1998, 1999, 2003 and 2005 - Raymond van Barneveld. 

As was the case with Les "McDanger" Wallace in 1997, Ted Hankey in 2000 and 2009, Tony David in 2002, Andy Fordham in 2004, Martin Adams in 2007, 2010 and 2011, Christian Kist in 2012, and Glen Durrant in 2017 and 2018.

And so on.

The reality is that at any given point in time, the BDO's standards will always be higher than that of the pdc. 

And the same is the case today. 

That's the reality.
