His age is no excuse. By 19, Kelleher was already at Liverpool and already playing pre season friendlies. By 20, he was making his senior debut and winning his European Cup medal. Now he's progressed to No. 2 at one of the biggest clubs in the world, facing some of the world's best forwards every day of the week.

Bazunu will never play a game for City, not even a pre season friendly. Instead he'll be sent out to whoever will take him, and he'll have no stability at club level. 7 goals conceded in 7 games is not very impressive for a goalkeeper at any level, and it shouldn't guarantee him a starting place here.

Kelleher doesn't make mistakes and Kenny can rely on him. But to do that, he has to get him off the bench and onto the pitch. When Jota comes to  Lansdowne next month, it will be Bazunu facing him instead of someone who does it every day of the week and knows his game inside out. That can only mean more goals conceded and the inevitable fallout from it, that we're all used to hearing and reading about, by now.

And if Kelleher didn't play for Liverpool, Planners wouldn't give two fooks about him. Embarrassed

Kelleher has conceded 13 in his 10 liverpool games. Allison conceded 41 from 42 games last year, if averaging conceding 1 goal a game isnt good at any level why hasn't kelleher taken his place yet.

And Bazunu has already trained with Man citys first team he was on their pre season tour when was 17.

LOLLOL winning his European cup medal.

Bazunu plays week in week out at the minute and has been brilliant for Ireland so far.
Two very good keepers it seems, one has to miss out.
Could give them a half each lads...

And now Scott Carson has nudged ahead of him in their pecking order. Scott Carson. Can't understand why they bought him from Rovers in the first place, as they had no intention of ever giving him a game. It's not like they need the loan fee.

Kelleher kept a clean sheet this week and saved a penalty against EPL opposition. It's true that he conceded 10 goals in 2 league Cup games 2 years ago. One with an understrength team, the other with a severely understrength team. Not quite World Cup qualifiers with full strength squads available. Or whatever counts as full strength for us these days.

He's an EPL Liverpool fan boy. Just ignore him and his incoherent ramblings

Alisson will miss the Watford and Atletico Madrid games due to quarantine from Brazil.

just read into this a bit. they have to quarantine for 10 days upon return but are allowed leave once per day to play or train. problem for alisson seems to be that the watford game is 36 hours after brazil's qualifier, so travel would be very tight. and then the atletico game midweek, it seems like they might not be allowed to leave quarantine for a match out of the country. hope kelleher gets his chance and plays well, he needs games

Tbf there's a better chance of him playing these then there was last month. I'd be delighted for Kelleher as it would be a lovely reward/reassurance for him when he's staying as back up not playing every week to play in a PL game and as for a CL game against Atletico that would be magic
