if he doesnt get a chance now with adrian in such poor form and alisson injured i really hope he leaves on loan, needs to play now, not just league cup games here and there. their other young keeper grabara is in his third loan spell now

Kelleher's effectively second choice at Liverpool now. I don't think he'll be going anywhere.

For about a month. Unfortunately you're probably right, but really think for his development he needs to move on with a loan or a move. Maybe in the winter window, but not too many teams replace their keeper mid-season, especially for a relatively unproven backup.

Some poor goalkeeping from Adrian today, fingers crossed he gets dropped for the next game and Kelleher has a shot... cant be much worse.

Mmm don’t know. If van dyk is out for a while mightn’t be a good time for a young keeper young keeper to go between the sticks.

Yeah that would be my concern too.  Didn't play great whenever he has played and a humiliation could ruin his career at his age.

I read somewhere that he was meant to go on lone to the Eredivisie only for Allisson to get injured.

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

I thought a move away was the best thing for Kelleher but absolutely delighted for him. He must be doing something right in training to get the nod.

Fair play to Klopp as it's a huge risk for him to take on the back of a defeat in a CL group that isn't settled yet either.  I really hope Kelleher does well and keeps a clean sheet.

Our goalies badly need game time so this is an unexpectedly pleasant surprise. Clap

Yeah big time.

He just let 7 goals in the other night.

Can't wait to see how he gets on now.

That’s a shock but wow what an opportunity for him. Hopefully it goes well for him a huge one to have on his CV if nothing else.

Tbf Adrian has been putrid the last few times he’s played so maybe Klopp has gone f**k it the kid is impressing in training he can’t be any worse.

Brilliant to see, Klopp highly rates him.

Who is the last Irish player to start in the Champions League? O'Shea, Gibson, McGeady?

He conceded 7 goals in his last game a dew days ago for the reserves.  You'd fear for him.

If only he was on loan with some dirt kicking German or championship team.  Oh well, will just have to make do with playing for liverpool against ajax in the champions league.
