Would I be correct in saying Burke is the first LOI footballer to be called up to a senior Ireland squad since Joe Gamble in 2007?

Says some players drop out of the squad after Celtic game and others not joining up with them till France game so imagine plan is to have the fringe players in squad for Celtic and then drop them. Potentially it be almost a B squad for that game
the closest i will ever come to playing for ireland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0_7w4JyvI4

O'Malley, Williams, Robinson, and Burke are all new inclusions, so a few nice surprises! Obviously nothing has come of Bamford, for the time being anyway.
We're decent enough..

It was the 8 minutes past 8 that had me puzzled, really.

It is a common enough time for American sports.  It suits tv schedules to kickoff a few minutes after the hour.  In baseball the Red Sox meet the Blue Jays at 7.07pm tonight (local time).  This allows more time for adverts.

...And more time for scooping back in Dublin, I shouldn't wonder. LOL
