Sweden qualify.

Might as well continue the trend.

Down to us now.

A true class act : a real gentleman and a sportsman

Remember the way he ran over to Martin O'Neill to congratulate him after we beat them last year?

+1

Did ye see his response to the Italian fans booing the Swedish anthem before KO? There's a gif on Twitter showing him applauding the anthem. One of my favourite players of all time.

I certainly did. He actually looked very upset that they were booing.

Video circulating of De Rossi arguing with the Manager as he wanted to bring him on but De Rossi thought it was a better idea to bring on Insigne instead of him

Also we could add to that amount tomorrow night

We could, but we don't get to every tournament. Italy do, and park the bus at every single tournament they go to.

Sweden have knocked Holland and Italy out of the tournament, and beaten France at home. All we now have to do is find a way past the Leicester goalkeeper, at home.

Jesus talk about moving the goalposts. Sweden had 25% Italy had 23 shots and you think the team that parked the bus went out -:). Great achievement by Sweden no one argued that it wasn't but the move defensive team went through.

Think positive GD ... we've stepped up to the plate on a lot of our do or die games of late . I know we have not taken chances when we should have but look at Germany Bosnia Italy Wales . We seem to be better motivated when we have to get a result or we are out

He's just discovered what we've felt for the past 16 years. Or 20 in Scotland's case. Or 30+ in the Nordies case. Or 60 in Wales case.

They had a group with a guaranteed playoff spot, a top seeding, the second leg at home, and still couldn't get the job done.

Now they know how the rest of us feel. Crying about it won't make it any better.

It's kind of hard to feel sorry for a lad, with millions of pounds the adulation of an entire sport and more importantly Every winners medal a professional could want for.

Don't think there was any doubt that would happen. Can probably count himself lucky that he hasn't been lynched
