People keep saying this.

But lads also tell people to stay away from Gib and go to this.

Would someone travelling for the 1st time go to Georgia away or Denmark away?

I'm going to suggest we will over subscribe our allocation for this, the swiss game and the Gib game.

If it's over subscribed and it's someones first away then you'd expect them to have issues getting a ticket. I've 6 aways on my account anyway. Hoping it's enough for this

By way of comparison, I know some season ticket holders with no away history missed out in Vienna. But they were new season ticket holders with no away history at all. Also, that was a higher demand game than this is likely to be.

I don't know where I stand for a ticket or even if I should be disappointed at this stage.

From WC Qualifiers

Georgia H & A
Moldova H & A
Wales H & A
Serbia H
Austria H

Playoff H & A

NL

All home games.

***
I remember around the Scotland game my away record was almost perfect but I didn't have a season tickets and some cited this as a reason.

I then made the promise to buy a season ticket every year from then on.

We will see.

Heading Wednesday - get in early and often

have you found out yet ?

Thats the one thing stopping me from booking flights and accommodation.

Is it even worth going over if there is no Christmas Tuborg available ?

Get a cheap flight over for a random Tuesday in a couple of weeks for €40.

Buy a slab of 24 cans for €30.

Fly home for €40.

Keep them six months in your shed.

Fly back out in six months again.

Sell half of them for a tenner each, or €120, drink the other half.

...

Profit.

I would advise traveling through Billund Airport. On my way back the other week, I ducked into WH Smiths to grab a couple of Christmas Beers. The ould dear behind the counter said "Irish !! I was at the game last night" and proceeded to do me a deal on the Christmas beers !

Had a few cans of the stuff. Certainly wasn't as nice as the pint.

Booked that much but no flight home yet.

That's ok if you're absolutely certain it's in Copenhagen. Look at the way many of us were wrongfooted with the NL game when the DBU announced it would be in Aarhus after many of us booked travel to Copenhagen.

The only thing I'm booking for any of these away trips before the venues are announced is accommodation on free cancellation.

Nations league is compelelty different though
Everyone knew the attendances would be smaller. It'll be in Copenhagen no doubt about it

Copenhagen is a host city too. They'll want to use it

Wikipedia has Copenhagen as the venue, but the Danish FA's website only says "Stadium not specified, Denmark". Holding off on buying anything in case they send us to Aarhus or somewhere again
