Shannon to Stansted and Stansted to Copenhagen, arriving around 15.30 on the Saturday afternoon and back with that route on the Sunday. Flights came in around €330 which is pricey enough but had no annual leave left at work so couldn't go out earlier.

Thursday to Sunday with Ryanair from Stansted to Copenhagen. €50 return.

Copenhagen backpackers hostel. €75 for three nights in a 6 bed dorm. Sharing with a friend (and brother is joining us for the first night).

A grand total of €125

Brother got onto me after the draw. Booked Cork to Aarhus via Stansted plus rtn train from Aarhus to Copenhagen for €130 in total. Surprised more haven't looked at Aarhus. The rtn flights from Stansted to Aarhus were £45 at the time.

It depends on how many nights you want to go for.

Correction it's Kerry - London - out friday back sunday is around €37
London - Aalborg then saturday - sunday around £20.

4 hours from AA - CPH

Pretty sure Cork don't go to Denmark

Jaysus your head would be melted alright.

Ryanair increased all London - Dublin flights for the Sunday €100 + for those depending on time. Eventually booked Lufthansa going via frankfurt on Sat at 5.15am.

Shower a f**ks!
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

For anyone looking for a decent return on the Sunday morning I booked:

Malmo-Warsaw Chopin, 10 quid, Wizzair
Warsaw Modlin-Dublin, 50 quid, Ryanair

Bus to Malmo at 6am with Neptunbus for a tenner. Official bus for Wizzair flights.

4 hour layover in Warsaw and back in Dublin around 4pm.
