Was very impressive tonight. Great seeing an Irish player who's as assured on the ball as he is off the ball. Definitely playing himself into playoff squad, especially when you see the current state of our midfield.

Sure why would Mick look at him? He is clearly under 30 and there is no way he will force his way into our galactico team.

The annoying thing is that if we were somehow to upset the odds and qualify, we’d probably have a better team than the one we currently have.

Another six months of first team football for Parrott, Connolly and Molumby and they’d be regular staters for us.

Pity we’ll be at home this summer.

Molumby is already a better holding midfield option than 12 points from 16 games at Hearts Glenn Whelan.

More mobile, better passing, playing at a higher level. The only thing that Whelan has that Molumby hasnt is experience playing international football.

I don't think he seems to have those defensive midfield qualities though to take over the Whelan role, not much of a tackler. More of a playmaker.
Next campaign either Cullen will likely take over that role or they just change formation (then there's McCarthy I suppose) , he's more going to be competing with likes of Browne and Hendrick for a spot I'd think.

+1. From what I've seen, he's the complete midfielder who loves a tackle

LOL

So Glenn Whelan is soley responsible for Hearts results is he.
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn
