Good post Conan, this thread was starting to become dangerously positive.

He's a nice tidy Championship player but he's more of a Graham Kavanagh box to box player than a Roy Keane type.

John McGinn would be a good role model? What? This forum is mental.

Why is it mental? McGinn is a top player. Have you watched Villa over past three seasons? If Molumby gets to McGinn's standard for club and country he will far exceed expectations.

What’s the connection? Out of all the players in the world you think he should look to John McGinn as a role model? Brick you sir are mental.

McGinn is developing into a decent player. Developed his trade from 20-23 in the Scottish League as well. Hopefully Molumby can go a similar direction in the Championship now at 21 and looking comfortable at that level to playing top flight football in the next few years I’d take that.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Be interesting to see what his market value is.

I get the feeling that Potter doesn't really know if Molumby will be good enough yet.

So far he's not been willing enough to play him in games or even have him on the bench for Brighton in most games but he is not willing to sell him to Preston yet either.

Looks like he'll make a decision at the end of the season so this move to Preston is pretty massive for Molumby.

I really don't think Molumby is suited to the more advanced midfield role, in games I've seen him his best position is the holding midfield role.

On the bench today for Preston. They seem to play him in the more advanced midfield position. Really don't think its his best position.

Alex Neil does so much chopping in changing with his team since he arrived there it's no surprise they can't find any consistency.

Not looking good for Molumby at Preston by all accounts. Subbed off again today. Preston midfield looking ragged.

Yeah, Molumby's loan spell this year it's not nearly as good as the spell with Millwall last year.

Incidentally Alex Neil is a complete spoofer. How many years is he there he still hasn't a clue what his best 11 is?
