Not surprised at all McGee had the week booked off work just for this. Thankfully they don't play again until February so can enjoy the week or 2 now and get back to training for corofin then

"Perhaps Jim Gavin should run up and down the sideline during games gesturing to the crowd or throwing water bottles around to show his 'passion' or a senior ranking county board official should run to Hill 16 after some victory and throw their tie into the famous terrace?"

I wonder who is referring to here?Wink

Hi Sean, just a quick question regarding the much publicised incident where you suffered severe facial injuries in a club championship game. What does it feel like to be such a ***t that you were blatantly assaulted in club game in your native county, hospitalised, and then the county to which you gave so much service to, reported back that theres nothing to see here folks?

Was it a deliberate assault though?

Assaults do tend to be deliberate.

Apology for my choice of words. Not so sure that the injuries he sustained were due to a deliberate assault. Referee was just yards from incident and spoke to a few at the game who took the same opinion
