Just need Idah to score and we have 3 Irish teenage strikers scoring for premier league sides on the same night, not sure that has ever happened before

Hope so. Would like to see him get some chances to shine without another injury.

Just cramp it seems.

Redmond injury seems longer term. Potentially good news for Long.

If Obafemi plays vs City this weekend and Long stays on the bench, then how can Mick opt for Long?

Might have been a tap in for Michael, but we've seen Long miss similar opportunities.

His comments seem to suggest that Obafemi won't make the full squad.
He's in no worse of form than any of our other strikers and playing at around the same level.

from the bit I've seen of this lad (little bits I admit!) I'm not convinced yet. Afolbi (apologies for the spelling) seems to have much more rounded game.  Was very surprised when he got released but then heard he wouldn't sign a contract they offered  ....... so maybe they did rate him after all.
It's not me it's you:-)

In the U21 squad which I assume means he won't be called up for the senior team. Same as Parrott.

Is McNamara a new recruit, or just one that's flown under the radar?
We're decent enough..

McNamara's a new recruit - English born right back, but not capped internationally for anyone.  Has a fair amount of senior football at conference level.

If I needed a goal and could only pull a striker from one bench, I know which I'd go for.
