Will he be in contention to start for 21s?

Don’t think Michael will play for our under21s this season given his injury record of late.

Is this a bit tongue in cheek?

Not sure of his commitment (desire) to play 21 football but I could be wrong.

LOL Sums this place up people writing players off at 19 years of age.

Was half joking about the first bit, but the chap is injured a lot.

That's the spirit, a young player earns an opportunity to impress, so lets instantly criticise him!
We're decent enough..

Only caught his last 15 minutes or so but he was looking really good. Did he play that well all match? Nice surprise to see him getting a start. Hopefully continues to get chances

Ya made the pass that let to the penalty, would of had a tap in only for a terrible pass to him late in the game, very fast and used the ball well, big thing and we all know if he can stay injury free

Great to see him start . Some really promising attackers coming through . Parrott,  Connolly , Idah , Obafemi . All with prem league teams . But they all have to push on and become regular starters with their clubs.  They've proved nothing yet but great to see some young players that might have the potential to be premier league starters .
A young Robbie Keane playing in that game against Denmark and we were in the Euros

Anything for your attention O'Shea Wink
Hard to judge him as a footballer as yet but I think he has definite Decathlon potential as he looks like he could be a class sprinter and shot putter.
