Although he should have scored, Iwobi has been very good since he was out the night before the FA cup defeat.

City will be clear favourites for the cup, but the same was probably said about the semi final last year. Should be a good game between 2 teams who can't really defend LOL

Yeah of the two I’d prefer Arsenal but they did beat city in the fa cup semi and then Chelsea in the final last year when underdogs

I'd say you'd rather City play the Arse in the final rather than Chelsea.

If it was United, I'd take Arsenal over Chelsea

Without being a goal threat, Lacazette has done well tonight winning important frees when he doesn't have support. Works very hard, but would like to see more of a presence in the box from him.

Arsenal defending in the early parts of the game was shambolic. They've tightened up, only slightly.

Chelsea should be ahead.

Would agree with that BB. Last night with the Chelsea peno claim, play goes on for another 20/30 seconds, goes out for a corner, players start to get set up for the corner. Then they go to VAR. It wasnt a peno, but surely you can't let play go on for so long and then award a peno.

Have been to a number of Brisbane Roar games over the past couple of weeks where 2 goals have been overturned after review with a video ref.

Goal scored ...big celebration , players go to centre circle to ko again , then just before the its kicked off the stadium screen displays replay of the goal and the ref gets involved again and overturns it .......needs to be a better way of handling this over here as it all seems like too much of a delay

Thought the VAR was pretty successful today.
Had another referee controlling the system with a linked up earpiece with the referee on the pitch to minimise the downtime, only criticism was the Cesc penalty decision - The referee waited until the ball went out of play before going to the VAR, what if play had continued for 10 minutes + and it turned out it was actually a penalty, would all of that time would of been nothing but wasted and irrelevant?

Chelsea still got in behind them at times but it was one of the most impressive defensive displays from Arsenal in a good while, all the same.

They don't have the quality up front unless is Sanchez is playing to have given Chelsea too much bother but a good result.

Second leg should be good Clap

Very enjoyable 0-0 game so far. Clap

Luck is with Arsenal so far but they deserve it as they've shown a bit of fight.
