I think second too as It's a big ask trying to beat Georgia away and Serbia at home within a few days of each other.
I wouldn't take second place yet mind.

I believe we are now 8th out of the 9 group runners up as it stands. Could miss out even if we funisg 2nd. That game yesterday will come back to bite us.

Didn't think we would qualify at the start of the group but reckon we will top the group now. I think we will beat Georgia, moldova and either Serbia or Wales. I'm convinced we won't lose to either of out main rivals.

Had we beaten Austria yesterday then I would say top but given how poor that Austria team were and how we struggled against them I can honestly see us finishing 3rd. I hope I'm wrong I really do.

Yesterdays result just dumps a load of weight on the next two games Georgia can't really qualify but they were better this campaign than they have been previously its a tricky place toe go then Serbia come to Dublin won't be easy either could go either way least wales will pay austria least they could knock one or each other out by the time serbia come to town

We will see in the autumn what the team is really made off. Pot, sh*t time.
If we beat Serbia we'll finish no worse than second. One thing we will need is to score at least 4 against Moldova at home. My hunch is that we'll finish level on points with Serbia (21) and finish second in the group on GD.

We'll finish second and get knocked out in the playoff. We blew our chance to finish top yesterday. We gave Austria far too much respect and we will do the same with Serbia.

cant see us beating both Georgia and Serbia in september in fact i can see us drawing with Georgia and losing to Serbia and the Oct games will mean nothing |
