Not just a bad week for Bray, but for the League too. Absolute mess going on with the under-15s LOI too. (Kevin's)

2 good results in Europe this week - one step forward, two back.

My best guess is they'll see off the decent players and promote a load of u19s to see out the season, they've enough points to stay up at least

Horrific mismanagement from the club for years. Just a shame they couldn't hold out a few more months with the prospect of European football

What could this mean for the League as a whole? If the worst case scenario occurs and Bray don't see the season out and don't come back, it would mess up the proposed format of the leagues from next season

are they in breach of the rules? From a selfish point of view, how likely is an asterisk?

Small town reality when realistically Bray Wanderers should be targeting fans from as far north as Dun Laoghaire and as far south as Carlow, Gorey etc.

It's a club on the DART line, with bus links galore and is less than 20km from Dublin City centre. There's easily 300k people in the South Dublin / North Wicklow urban area that the club should be targeting as potential fans. You could argue that Cabinteely and UCD are too close but both of those teams are in the First Division, and as far as Dublin clubs go, have the smallest fan bases and arguablly the least history.

Then again, poor marketing isn't a trait just possessed by Bray, but by much of the league.
You have stunningly misssed the story here.

My point is that the marketing is poor from the club. It is. That's my point.

Really? The owners who are trying to kill the club are not marketing correctly? Thanks for the insight.

Weirdly hostile from yourself. What's the issue with making the above point? It may not be so obvious to everyone.

This issue isn't as black and white as 'no support' and 'poor marketing' as may appear in the media.

This is something that bugs me, bray have enough points to stay up offering playere contracts that they cannot honour yet clubs who only offered what they can afford going down, there should be a punishment

The bigger question is how they and Athlone got a licence this year, it is the Irish equivalent of the fit and proper person's test, you are dumbfounded if someone doesn't pass it.

One of Ger Penders relatives on social media claiming that the players have been told that they are free agents and that the club is "gone".

Differs from PFAI statement, but the chairmans interview last night suggested that there was money there for a few weeks, now there's enough for one week, so it's hard to know who to believe.
