Sure the full backs weren't allowed past the half way line with Trap.  A back four meant just that - a rigid back four who spent the whole game in their own half.

Sure in Ward's first game at LB for MON, he ended up with a nosebleed from the altitude - never been so far forward in his Ireland career.

As well as being overrun in midfield, it left the defence horribly exposed, all 3 had poor games, maybe you can excuse Duffy as he hasn't played in so long, but Keogh is a fella who has difficulty with small, fast forwards at the best of times, with no protection from midfield you realise how vulnerable he is.

The 2 defenders to come out of last night's shambles with the biggest chance of playing V Austria were JOS & Ward. Can't judge Horgan or O'Dowda on last night either, both on the back foot all game, positionally poor, but wouldn't really expect much else from 2 lads with few caps and playing in an alien position. Wouldn't be too worried about it, like others have said, it was a team picked to lose, we can't be surprised that they did just that.

Trap played 2 attackers in every game and was hounded in the media and on here for it as the popular stick to beat him with at the time was we should be playing 4-5-1.  So I don't know why you say O'Neill played 2 more attackers than Trap when more often than not he plays less attackers than Trap.

They're looking at Maguire no doubt or maybe they heard the Oriel bar is class and are up for a few scoops.

RTE saying Cork are Roy's team.  Not so. R.Keane did a judas Mo Johnstone move by actually signing for City but then signing for Cobh aswell! Ramblers got the papers in first and he was their player.

Roy is a Cork City Judas

Darren Randolph would have been born in Dublin.

I suppose when people say "born" they really mean "grew up". The more pertinent question would be whether Randolph is from the Wicklow or Dublin side of Bray

He's from the Wicklow side I'm pretty sure! Lets be honest, I'm clutching at straws Tongue

We were all over them until they scored the 1st on the counter. McClean gave away a stupid penalty, and we were just beaten by a technically superior team. We created more chances last night than we did in the Wales and Iceland match combined. O'Dowda should have done better with his chance, Hourihane and McClean had a decent effort, and Murphy should have scored that header.

The positives far outweigh the negatives last night for me.
Well I am more of the opinion that it was a waste of time than any harm done, this is just nonsense.

It's a shift from were our players are coming from might not Interest you but it does me. It's good to see players from different parts of the country picking up caps as was shown last night and at the euros were a once dominated team of Dubs bastards was restricted to 9 of the 23.
Ah ok, I thought ye were crying about it! That is how it came across. I couldn't give a f**k where they come from once they have respect for the jersey.

Is there no Wicklow Maternity hospitals.

No, sure the national maternity hospital is about a 25/30 minute drive from Bray, Darren also played DDSL for years.
