After the shambles of last night what do you all think the starting 11 will be for Sunday?

I used to get excited for every Irish international but the Mexico game summed up recently friendlies... The Irish players don't care and the management team most certainly don't give a sh*t. The team MON put out against Mexico was like a Sunday league team after a heavy session, no shape, no real positions, no point.

The bit in bold is the only bit that is true.
The rest is not right. Last night's game was one of the better friendlies we've seen in a while. And the players and manager care.

Don't know why everyone is down about friendlies
we tried something, it didn't work we move on
it was a team and a formation that wont ever be tried in a competitive match

13 midfielders in the squad and 3 strikers. Nice.   Glad MON got the balance right.

man what we were lacking were options up front....   that was the main thing..,

i cant  get  why  MON is not proactive about getting irish born abroad to make him play..let me tell you

We are lacking of right backs ......Christie is there ..ok ...no cover there.,...we have a fellow who is at a great level playing in Europe named  Sandy Walsh  , call him up !!  doherty is out injured... so you are gonna play a center back as right back....

up front  try  Pilkington,  try Cillian,   try  Mason...bring  on Hogan, MCmANAMAN AND THAN MAHONEY KID

New security procedures in place tomorrow

From the FAI Ireland v Uruguay FB page

Supporters travelling to Aviva Stadium are advised to arrive at least one hour ahead of kick-off to get through security and they are reminded of new security measures:

- Aviva Stadium Management are introducing a “No Bag Policy” to all events in the stadium

- It is important that supporters do not bring any bags or rucksacks to the game

- Searching procedures will be in place at all entry points and because of this it is advisable all supporters arrive a little earlier than normal

- Extra Safety & Security measures will be in place at this fixture

Well, I could understand that people wishing to protest Delaney at the Aviva are more likely to do so at a match where it doesn't matter if we win or not.
