To be fair it is promising that management deem Parrott and Idah to be good enough for 21s football but it's a pity as I think our strongest under 19s squad is probably in Europe's top 10 at the moment.

Don't think Johansson is eligible considering he has already played for the Luxembourg 19s in the same tournament.

Didn't Johansson already play for Luxembourgs U19s in this season's competition, wouldn't that make him unavailable for Ireland.

Is there a chance that Parrott could play for both teams?

Republic of Ireland U21 squad v Luxembourg

Goalkeepers: Caoimhin Kelleher (Liverpool), Gavin Bazunu (Manchester City)

Defenders: Darragh Leahy (Bohemians), Dara O'Shea (Exeter City, on loan from West Bromwich Albion), Barry Cotter (Ipswich Town), Corey Ndaba (Ipswich Town), Conor Masterson (Liverpool), Lee O'Connor (Manchester United), Trevor Clarke (Shamrock Rovers), Liam Scales (UCD AFC)

Midfielders: Jayson Molumby (Brighton and Hove Albion), Jake Doyle Hayes (Cambridge United, on loan from Aston Villa), Connor Ronan (FC DAC 1904, on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers), Jamie Lennon (St. Patrick's Athletic), Conor Coventry (West Ham United), Dan Mandroiu (Bohemians)

Attackers: Adam Idah (Norwich City), Troy Parrott (Tottenham Hotspur), Neil Farrugia (UCD AFC), Zach Elbouzedi (Waterford), Michael O'Connor (Linfield), Simon Power (FC Dordrecht, on loan from Norwich City)

Can anyone with decent knowledge of the players make a starting XI out of this?

Are we to take it that Nolan will be with the 19s?

Exciting squad. 4 of Tom Mohan's starting 11 have been taken though, might now struggle a bit in Russia next week. They especially don't have replacements for O'Connor and Coventry who are of the same quality. Johansson is ineligible for the u-19s as he already played for Luxembourg in the first qualifying round.
Geremi has let Kilbane in here, cross comes out to Holland, 1:1!!

I think it is a disgrace that a player I have never seen play isn't in the squad.

Ryan Nolan is the Captain of Inter Reserves, Barry Cotter is in and out of the Ipswich reserves team. Cotter got in and Nolan didn't, people are allowed to ask questions. FWIW I have seen him play
