Started a blog on the preparations and application processes for the Confederations Cup 2017.
I hope to add FAN ID and Match Ticket application in a day or two.

Can't blame the VAR for it. It provided the evidence as it should and the player was punished. Probably should have been more severe, but without it, he would have got off scot free.

Very happy with the system, but they need to be better at communicating the info, and 3 refs is really two many cooks. These are improvements that are easily done. I'm not bothered how long it takes as long as the right decision is made.
VAR: Cutting the crap out of football.

Favs in my book too but the problem they will have is selecting the 23 and then finding their best XI.
They only clicked in Brasil after Merteslacker was dropped.

Fair point. Bizarre how their biggest issue is selecting their best 11 from at least 23 world class players.
The rest of us mere mortals have trouble finding any more than 2 or 3 World Class players in a team LOL

Until 2010 a European team hadn't won a world cup outside of Europe.

Records are there to be broken.

exactly, but the ref running off the pitch to watch it and still getting it wrong. Either theres a ref updtairs or not.

Even if he only gave a yellow he should have given him another for his ironic applauding.

How was there only 5 minutes added on? There was 4 minutes on the Jara incident alone! Fair play to Lee Dixon for stating the obvious and calling it what it is.

VAR has proven to be more headline grabbing than Mike Riley, he won't be about this at all. I expect Mike to be thinking of new ways next season to grab his former crown.
