Only three hours between kick-offs? A bit tight if they are using VAR, isn't it?

2022 will be a load of sh*te as well if it goes ahead in Qatar. If local KO times are similar the games Irish time will be 12pm 3pm and 6pm

Brazil was perfect.

Agree. Imagine WC 2022 Qatar ko's will be similar if not an hour or two earlier.
That's why World Cup in USA/Can/Mex in 2026 will be perfect.

As far as I know

Japan will qualify if they beat Australia,

If Nigeria can do the double over Cameroon they will most likely have done enough to qualify bar  a massive goal difference swing.

Mexico can qualify if they beat Panama

Massive game between Spain and Italy on Saturday winner will most likely top group

Japan won 2-0 so have qualified for World Cup

Means Australia  who play Thailand need to better Saudi's result against an already qualified Japan to qualify automatically

Was originally up for Netherlands in this group to finish second behind France but it's not good for us if they do, should we end up in the playoffs. As bad as the Dutch have been the last few years, I would still rather us face Sweden in a playoff than them.

Also if the Dutch finish second, I think one of the lads posted on the other thread that we'd certainly be among the lower seeds in a playoff position.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Actually thought Dutch were dog sh*te when we played them before the Euros, should have beaten them bar a mistake by Duffy and Randolph.

Think both of those have improved their understanding since then, and the Dutch haven't gotten much better.

We are actually ahead of them in World Rankings so we'd they'd most likely be bottom seeds with us

Biggest game in Syria's history later on.

Playing Qatar while Korea who previously said have been underachieving beyond belief are playing leaders Iran, if results go in Syria's favour they go into Tuesday, last match day with automatic qualification still up for grabs - Albeit their last game is against Iran and they'll need a good result from Uzbekistan vs Korea, I don't think they'll ever get as close as this ever again.

Syria are playing at the moment. It's 1-1 after 54 minutes. Uzbekistan are 0-0 away to China after 54 minutes also.

I've a Syria Uzbekistan double on.

Syria in dreamland right now and I'm delighted for the troubled nation and huge underdog.

On Tuesday, A win against Iran and a draw between Korea and Uzbekistan see's them in Russia next year - Syria will finish 2nd on GD

To quote Bill Murray "Cinderella Story"

it will be a big ask for them to beat Iran though I'd feel
