Southampton's performance made it a fantastic final. they also had the tougher run to the final, beating arsenal away and then doing the double over liverpool. you could see that they had far more energy in their team and that their tactics were really well drilled in, the benefit of not having to play a game for 15 days. united did look tired and didn't close down fast enough at all, but I think the bigger game players pulled them through.

Yeah strange decision. He looks a class act.

Felt a bit sorry for Saints. Perfectly good goal disallowed. You need a lot to go your way in a final and they lucked out today. That Pogba, what an over valued player ?

He was becoming increasingly isolated up to the point he was taken off so i can see why Puel did it. although it can always be a danger to have a finisher of that quality in reserve. I'd have kept him on myself, but i ain't paid to make the calls
No thank you Turkish......I'm sweet enough

It's just the way he is HB. He'll never change. Personally I cannot stand him, or even the sight of him. Think he's simply vile. At the end of the day though, you have to give the man some kudos, a trophy on the board in his United career already.

Look at the soppy face on Mourinho. Absolutely classless individual.

Good game and Ibrahimovic's free was excellent. Southamption played very well.

It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.
