People using 'been' instead of 'being'. 

Ie: 

'He was been stupid' 

Instead of, 'He was being stupid'.

'I was sat' instead of 'i was sitting'. An english term used more and more here.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Another sh*te Americanism to originate in baseball and normally used by some **** in a cheap suit at a team bonding getaway. Others include; 'touch base',  'straight off the bat', 'step up to the plate', 'out of left field', 'cover your bases', 'curveball', 'ballpark', 'big-hitters', 'playing hardball', 'knocked out of the park' etc. Anybody who uses them, except baseball commentators, should be smacked with a pollock.

It did give a name to a quality band though, Leftism is a brilliant album.
