A loose geo-economic division between North and South in UEFA terriority.  I put Poland, belarus and Russia into North because POL and BLR are regularly paired with Northern teams and Russia for economic reasons.

No EPL team should be losing to a team from Slovenia, given the gulf in finances in the respective leagues

Aberdeen absolutely robbed by the ref in their game.

Keeper fouls Striker 1 vs 1,
Follow-up Striker scores,
Ref brings it back for a penalty,
Only books the Keeper,
Sends an Aberdeen player off.
Aberdeen miss the penalty

LOL

Then 5 minutes later Aberdeen keeper completely misses the backpass and they end up scoring an own goal, if there was an Aberdeen fan on YBIG and had a meltdown this evening I would not blame them LOL

Terrible draw really for attracting the fans. They will have to price the tickets appropriately ....

In footballing terms, maybe not the worst.
A victory in the group pays €360,000 and a draw €120,000. I reckon they have a shot of wining one game and maybe getting a couple of draws.

They'd have made a million or more from one big game on ticket sales alone in the Aviva. If they'd drawn, say, United in the Aviva, even 40,000 at an average of 30 euro a ticket and they're making 1.2 million, although obviously they'd have to pay rent.

Long and short of it, a big draw was a better chance of real money than the off chance they get a few points off a weaker team.

Anyway, they are where they are, so hopefully they can pick up a few points and few extra quid.
