Did you contact booking.com about this? I rang them on Thursday night and they said they'd get back to me. Still nothing though.

That's only the start of it. There will be fireworks yet. Russia has its sights on Belarus also and will walk in no problem as the elite in Minsk are all pro Russian

Yeah it's a bit of a reaction to a few protests. Seems to be all peaceful there tonight anyway.
