I looked at using Ryanair via Kiev, but not sure I trust them not to move that flight time, or even cancel it.

I'd be more worried about using the Ukrainian low cost carrier Skyup LOL

They fly in the EU and they have 737s, not 737 MAXs. Be grand.

I did an internal flight in the Ukraine from kiev to Donetsk 15 years back, soviet type plane with propellers, wouldn't dream of getting on something like that these days.

Pretty sure the big hairy air steward had a  string vest on as his uniform as well, but my memory deceives me and I may have made that up over time.

Georgian airways also fly direct from Kiev.

Ended up booking via Istanbul with Turkish airways. Early departures from both Munich and Tbilisi.

No visa needed if it's a layover like with the Aeroflot flight, if you don't leave the transit zone of the airport

Anyone book this route ?
Seems decent.

Anyone have any experience flying with SkyUp? Our flight with Georgian airways on the Sunday has been moved from 10am in the morning to 7pm which isn’t ideal. Presume that’s enough to get our money back yeah?

For those arriving into Tbilisi on the early morning flights, what are you doing regarding check-in? Are most places ok to give you early check-in, or do you book the night before you arrive?

Stayed in the radisson in batumi last time for a few nights before heading to tbilisi, got in at about 6 in the morning and was given a room even though I hadn't booked in the night before.
Here we go again
