Yeah, I’ve been keeping an eye on it. Just wondering would the current options be final or do some airlines not load their schedules until say 6/7 months prior.

Industry standard is 330 days, some do 360 and some release their summer and winter seasons all at once, this game in the summer season so they should all have been released.

Cheapest at the moment is via Munich with Lufthansa around €270 - lengthy stopovers though which might be good if you want to spend a few hours in Munich or any of the towns near the airport like Freising.

The two pubs where most fans congregated the last two times were McLaren's and the Hangar Bar. Anywhere near those should be good but remember that the metro is cheap and easy too.

Its a decent spot as you are right by the old town which was really lively the 2nd time we were there. Tblisi is quite a small city, we were up the hill by the Funcular station and even that was a short stroll to the centre.

I would certainly recommend accommodation near/in the centre, close to pubs and restaurants.

You do not want to get a taxi, unless completely unavoidable. They're a disaster.

If you dont experience the near death thrill of a trip in a Georgian taxi, then you haven't sampled the true Georgia.

They have a very loose belief in the rules of the road alright.  Not that the other drivers are much better.

2nd time we were there we rented a car at Kutaisi and drove to Batumi and Tbilisi. The car had done 200k when we collected it and the windows wouldn't work. Needless to say, we had some hairy moments on the roads of Georgia.
